Joyful Gathering with Nithya Shanti

This was a relaxed evening with the renowned spiritual teacher and ex Buddhist monk, Nithya Shanti. During this event, Nithya guided us to explore powerful practices for bringing conscious and intentional living into our daily lives.
The purpose of this talk was to inspire us to slow down to the speed of life, awaken the heart, free the mind and re-energise our whole being.
The evening was informal, experiential, interactive and reflective. It was an opportunity to update our mental, emotional and spiritual “software” so that it is more in alignment with the natural principles of life.
It was an opportunity to get a real taste of what it is like to be awake and also to look at life with fresh, new, adventurous eyes, and realise that most limitations are simply habits of thought and belief.

About Nithya Shanti

Having completed his MBA and worked in the corporate sector, Nithya could not shake off the inner urge to pursue his own spiritual journey. In 2002, he ordained as a Buddhist monk living in the forest meditation monasteries in Thailand and Sri Lanka.
After 6 years living as a monk, he was guided to live, learn and serve in broader ways than the traditional role of a monk permitted. With the blessings of his teachers, he stepped out of the robes in early 2008 and has since dedicated his life to share joyful teachings in workshops, youth programs, corporate training and meditation retreats around the world.
